Yeah, that’s called an invasion.
Yeah, that’s called an invasion.
The enshittification/rent seeking continues. Nothing is sacred.
Gold is going to go through the roof soon. Probably last chance to get any before it becomes unaffordable completely.
Terrible sense of style though. Always so incredibly tacky.
I’m amused by the idea that the more rich and powerful these people grow, the more certain “common” things are pretty much out of reach for them: regular friendship, love, family ties. Everything is about power balance and tit-for-tat with these guys. Good luck finding anyone who loves you for “you” and isn’t after your fortune. And even if you do, good luck recognizing it and acting on it!
Forget it, Britain might as well be under Norsefire rule at this point. The “left” are now in charge and they’re hardly distinguishable from the tories who robbed them blind for a decade.
Since Leon and Zuck killed factchecking, there is nothing stopping me from believing this.
Almost simultaneously we watched in realtime how warfare changed forever (Ukraine) and how genocide remains the exact fucking same throughout history.
Amen. I also work in IT and I find the longer I do, the more I loathe new tech stacks and developments. I used to be passionate about new tech and its applications. Now I just want to be left alone where possible.
Most retailers have announced price hikes across the globe. I had hoped EU would actually get cheaper electronics and whatnot because of dumping. Oh well. Guess this 7 year old pc is going to have to sing it out for a few years longer at this rate.
I thought this was pretty mega fucken clear at this point.
First thing I checked the article for.
I’m also trusting billions of freeloading foreigners (bacteria) to help digest the food in my intestinal tract and not go rogue or provoke cancer on a daily basis.
If this raises prices of Netflix, Gamepass, … I will immediately cancel them rather than pay the hike.
On the topic of cordon sanitaire (the practice of never forming a coalition with far-right parties, no matter how well they perform in elections):
Me pre-2016: “Isn’t that kinda counter to democracy?”
Me in 2025: “Outlaw and deport the fuckers, please!”
160K isn’t gonna cut that though. He’ll need several hundred K more if he realistically wants to actually have any gains at all.
You know they’ll disqualify anyone who might even hint at knowledge of jury nullification from the jury pool. They’ll be selected on their ability to convict solely.
It would be a powerful message to other would-be whistleblowers. “It might take a decade but if you oppose us, you will eventually pay the ultimate price”.
Would it be in poor taste to suggest the bus driver who caused the crash was possibly paid or otherwise coerced to do so? Accidents happen, to anyone, but still…
Amen. Added to that I have an extremely common name (both actually) so even if someone were to find that out, they’d still have to sift my shit from all my doppelgangers’.
