When asked to give a postmortem of the incident, Grok explained it was the victim of a “prompt-injection glitch.” The allegation that Musk watches CSAM, it clarified, was “pure system error, zero evidence or basis.”

Journalists please stop. Get some education on LLMs. It cannot do accurate post-mortem threat analysis because it lacks the context and there is nothing to stop it making up information to fill in the blanks - in fact that’s by design.

Thinking about it, if the clock runs backwards at the same rate, so -1 hour per hour, the rate of randomly being right is 2x the stand-still rate. This is also a linear function, at -1 its 4x per day, -0.5 is 3/d, 0 is 2, 0.5 is 1. When it runs true it is however very different, as it is either always exactly right (no offset) or never (with offset).

This is why the typical evil mastermind plan of having unquestioning robot armies might backfire when you realize they will fucking hate you if they are too smart.

This means they will never have beyond Trade Federation droids that are easily defeatable by a ragtag group of nobodies.

I thought they were defeated by a religious cult working for the government?

The Jedi were integrated into the Republic as a peacekeeping/ humanitarian/ advisery organization after Darth Bane more or less wiped out the Sith Brotherhood and much of the Jedi led Army of Light at the end of the New Sith Wars. Though both before and after the New Sith Wars there were points where there were Jedi chancellors or even the Jedi de facto taking over when the Republic more or less collapsed a couple time, not even getting into military leader like Revan, Surik, or Lord Hoth who held military positions within the Republic.

      Darth Musk: Execute order… 69420!

Battle droids begin running around with pretend chainsaws saying “don’t I look cool mom?”

Lobot: And that’s why he’s the richest man in the galaxy

      Chewbacca: You don’t talk

There used to be code in Grok that disallowed people from saying anything mean about Elon. Interesting.

But he is in the Epstein Files and we know he visited the island, so it’s not unlikely.

I once talked to a bunch of different AIs describing bigoted behavior, then asked if Musk doing this exact behavior (with sources) made him a bigot and they all said yes.

      Except Grok.

It tried to twist its way out of ever admitting it. It eventually did, but it was pretty wild how it would condem the behavior as bigoted in all situations but his.

Remember when he accused the British diver of pedophilia who wanted to help out those Thai kids being stuck in a diving cave? It was such a weird move. Well, how the turntables!

I really did t know much about him at that point, but tended to respect him because he was doing some interesting tech stuff. Then he went off the deep end about the cave rescue, without understanding ANYTHING about the situation, and I understood all at once who he really was. I haven’t seen anything since that would make me alter my perception. In fact, the more I learned about him, the more I realized that I was perfectly correct in realizing that his ego is far larger than his intellect.

Thing is, he hasn’t actually done any interesting tech stuff himself. He just buys out existing tech stuff then takes credit for it.

The people that are most likely to insert a sin or a vice or a ethics accusation at people loudly and often or when it makes the least sense are the people who are thinking about it constantly. For some of those people, the reason they think of it constantly is that it is there job to think about it, like law enforcement, journalists, social workers, etc. and they are trained to see the signs everywhere. For some others, they have personal traumas that cause them to see that trauma reflected at them at the slightest trigger.

But the other people, by and large, are those who are thinking about it constantly because they are constantly craving it and/or trying to find ways to get it. This is the “every accusation is an admission” crowd. Your sister in law who is obsessed with calling people out as thieves, who will swipe cash off your night stand without hesitation. Your “gays will burn in hell” preachers that get caught soliciting male prostitutes. Your “trans people are groomers” politicians who get arrested for CSAM. Whether it is shame over their desires that makes them genuinely angry, an attempt at subterfuge by going over the top against is so they don’t get in trouble, they are obsessed with the subject to the point that they either bring it up all the time or they shoehorn it in seemingly out of nowhere.

So any time I see someone like Elon, who has absolutely nothing to go on but a white guy existing in Thailand and children being involved, immediately come to the association of pedophilia… well he’s not a sex crimes cop or journalist is he? It makes me feel very confident that either he was a victim of child sex abuse, or someone who might be a perpetrator of it, or both (as is unfortunately very common). Pair that with his later revealed desires to go to Epstein’s island, and, frankly, what I would perceive as a halting in his maturation from adolescence (genuinely think he has Peter Pan syndrome) which can be caused by childhood trauma, I really wonder if it is both.
