Okay, so let’s bring the end times to the Republicans. Since they want to die so badly, I’m happy to oblige.

You heard them, we can now bring about their end without worrying about it. They consented.

If you support bringing the end times, you are supporting the anti-christ according to their religion. Therefore they’re going to be the ones left behind and headed for however many thousand years in hell until their god hits the reset button. Idiots can’t even keep themselves on any side of their own religion.

Christianity turned to the anti-Christ in the 2nd century, with the doctrine that everything in the bible must be true, but what is chronologically first is more true than all corrections that were provided afterwards including by Jews in 1st temple, but more aggressively by Jesus. So Moses genocidal rights of the chosen people is the god of Christianity/Rome/Luther. Not anything Jesus ever said.

Long story short, a perfect red heifer is needed to purify clergy in order for the 3rd temple to be consecrated. The only problem is that there’s kinda an important mosque sitting where that temple would be.

Mike Johnson also all tied up in this.

He’s not talking about what he believes, he’s a nihilist. He’s saying what would have to be true to justify what he plans to do. Rolling coal, probably do some nuclear sabre rattling, do some ethnic cleansing sort of thing, you know.

Respectfully disagree based on my personal experience being raised in a church that was very focused on revelations. IMO you’d have to grow up believing it yourself to understand.

He’s saying what would have to be true to justify what he plans to do.

Yea their logic is circular but I promise you they fucking believe this shit.

Barring specific evidence to the contrary, both Occam & Halon’s razers apply here. It is both a simpler explanation that he believes the scriptures in his religion AND there is no malice required for stupidity to explain what he’s saying.

I’m not saying JD is above lying to his followers and faking faith. But I am saying that I don’t think he’s smart enough to do that and he’s probably 100% serious.

This revelations talk is conditioning them towards violence.

Not someone who grew up in one of those churches, but please don’t sleep on the previous person’s comment. Whether or not couch fucker believes what he says, there are more than enough idiots in their inner circle that do believe it (or are at least willing to go with it for the power) for that not to matter. And even side stepping on whether or not the people in the inner circle believe it, a fuck ton of stupid americans in bumblefuck USA absolutely do and are more than willing to partake in violence and justify it with religion or end times rhetoric, and will likely support them while they violate every maxim of christianity.

And just to tie in a very large media story, the Nat-Cs believe that the end times will come when the jews finally have their homeland back. So support for Israel can be drummed up in bumblefuck USA by tying this to the bible and making people thing that supporting Israel in their genocide is something akin to a crusade and something that god wants them to do.

And friend, if you don’t think they can control how a large swath of stupid christians think, look into what they thought of abortion back in the 50s and 60s, and how quickly sentiment turned when the right turned abortion into their culture war wedge issue.

      Not just this administration…

      https://www.britannica.com/topic/new-religious-movement

Netflix made a doc called “The Family” about that group. They started in 1935 and are Christian extremists who want the apocalypse to happen while they’re alive so they can be raptured instead of dying.

Most people only know them from “the national prayer breakfast” something most of our politicians (regardless of party) attend and is treated like an official event and not pancakes with a death cult for our nations leaders.

When Trump is finally hanging from a lamppost (and oh god, let that day come soon), JD will go right back to saying that he was against Trump from the beginning.

Of course he is. That’s when Jesus comes back, that’s what they’re waiting for.

Then, they will be whisked up to Heaven, and Jesus and friends will MURDER EVERYBODY and cast them all into Hell for eternal torture.

This is Christianity; like all Abrahamic faiths, they revel in the slaughter of unbelievers. They always have and they always will.

They don’t know what the end times actually is/entails.

If you ask them for a proper explanation they can not answer beyond the fairy tale that they are taught.
But a specific thing grounded in reality they can not point to, and if they’re called evil for wanting harm on millions of people you can see them think “how do I declare the victims to be evil?”.

I’m convinced there currently are some in the US government who are so delusional that they think they in-person are one of the four horsemen personified…

Even worse, they don’t even have a decent definition of “God”. If they say something like that they worship “the God of Abraham” or “Yahweh” or “Jehovah”, that’s about as good as they can do to actually describe “God”, just giving it a name.

If you ignore names and just ask them to describe “God” by its attributes, and get really into details, you’ll find that no two Christians believe in the same god, and in fact, somehow, the “God” they describe will closely reflect their own beliefs more than anything else.

You know here in Australia, people have tried to “cure” religions they don’t agree with. White people have tried to exterminate Aboriginal religions. Because these religions were seen as dangerous and primitive.

Personally, I think taking people’s religions away from them on a massive population level is genocide. Aboriginal Australians have faced genocide for their religion. And to Me, this meme looks like a call to genocide.

White people have tried to exterminate Aboriginal religions. Because these religions were seen as dangerous and primitive.

That was ethnic cleansing using religion as an excuse. That’s not the same as doing away with religion. If your actual target is religion there’s no reason to mistreat people.
