You need to follow rule 2 and put Why in the beginning. Message me when done and I’ll unlock it. Otherwise I’ll delete this after 24 hours.

In many ways. I remember reading an argument against the monarchy on the grounds that it’s cruel to the people who are born into it, and the environment lends itself to creating absolute arseholes who then perpetuate the whole thing.

Power corrupts, ultimate power corrupts ultimately. If you constantly get told how special you are from childhood, you basically will go bonkers.

While terrible, it didn’t seem too odd after five seconds of consideration why exactly a royal family would have so many mentally handicapped people so closely related to eachother.

It kinda makes the whole idea of monarchies seem evil at the root.

Monarchies are evil at the root.

With that said, what makes you so certain that have royal families have a higher percentage of mental illness than any other family.

I would wager that the vast majority of families have histories of mental illness. I honestly cant think of any family I have any degree of knowledge of that doesn’t have a history of mental illness.

there’s a difference between depression/anxiety etc, and severe intellectual disabilities that render the patient unable to really communicate.

also, they’re apparently god’s chosen ones. why would god choose to give his chosen ones severe intellectual disabilities that have left them unable to communicate and require 24/7 care?

So they are just like pretty much everyone else?

This will blow your mind but that is what the vast majority of family’s do with disabled family members.
