“Hope is just a first step on a road to disappointment”

After one price hike after another for almost a decade soon, roughly since 2017. There is no point to hope anymore, there will either be some new issues or manufactures have just gotten used to the high prices and will not lower those significantly. Even if they do start to bring down prices and AI shit ends, everyone will run to upgrade their rigs and scalpers will take full advantage of it. This is new reality.

Better to just find a new hobby.

Yes, they were already justified 4 years ago.

Less useful most definitely, but those are still used.

I have one at my home, though yeah that sees minimal use. Usually next to the fridge and birthday invites or any invites are usually stored on the fridge. It’s a quick glance to the calendar to see where that specific date lands in the week.

Similar reason why we have one at work. At manufacturing, all the runs we do have shipment date and it’s easier to just glance at the calendar on the wall to see how much time there’s left to determine most efficient way to organize different runs.

Pretty much, actual sunglasses would need to be even stronger, especially during summer or clear winter day with snow.

It’s one of those things that’s too subjective and heavily depends on a person.

I know a person who got lasik just because she hated glasses. I, myself completely avoided wearing glasses as long as possible and still do if not necessary aka i don’t need to see clearly further than a meter. But at the same time i go around wearing sunglasses almost every time I’m out and it’s just daytime.

I know people who wear fake glasses just because they like how it makes them look.

Well at least some good can come out of this conflict.

And for the shareholders: go cry harder while the world smallest violin plays.

Because TV is boring as hell most of the times and majority of it is ads which cant be blocked.

At least with phone i have to move my thumbs or put a little taught into how to express myself.

Standard TV is just a complete mind numbing existence. It’s pretty much equal to just being in a coma. Even sleeping is better, at least the body is recovering at that time. Standard TV is one of the worst ways to consume data garbage.

Of course there are good movies and documentaries, but those are a minority.

And the recipe is simple as well. Just need a good throwing hand.

I do agree that even 1 is too many, just that it’s not as widespread as of now.

Makes sense. I wouldn’t say being mediocre is bad, but each to their own.

And that has always completely baffled me. What’s the reasoning behind it? Why? Are they delusional? Do they consider themselves somehow special? If something has 99%+ chance of failure, theres absolutely no point to evne try or consider it as something that can happen, it’s basically a statistical anomaly.

The crash will come at some point, but based on the last decade, crypto boom, covid, just greed, now AI. Some new bullshit comes and jacks up the prices even more.
Call me a doomer, but the market is permanently messed up. It will not recover as long as some new player, maybe China, will enter the market.
