Looks like that article is based on a single study from 2016. Not saying it’s not applicable, but these days the number could be much lower or (more likely) much higher. I’m also not sure the echo chamber effect is related to this, as you can just as easily say people will read what they already agree with (especially since it’s a time investment) and that leads to the same problem.


I was wondering why I want getting any updates, checked thegithub a few months ago and found out they rebranded. Haven’t had a chance to try the latest version out yet


Ya, the main reason I use alias’ at this point is because when an account gets compromised I can just change the email and password. Helps that I can also just disable emails that are only getting mailing lists too.


I need to get that certificate. Would I use it? Probably not, but itd be cool to have.
